Epoxy Coated Neodymium Magnet - Adblue and Liquid Resistant

Our epoxy coated magnet products are specially produced as water resistant. It is also designed to be resistant to AdBlue material used in vehicles (AdBlue Resistance Magnet). This N38 quality neodymium magnet, which is used with AdBlue in the active emission systems of diesel vehicles, is produced in accordance with emission standards.

AdBlue Working Principle

What is AdBlue?

According to emission standards, diesel fuel vehicles must reduce their emissions in order not to harm the environment. The amount of reduction varies according to engine volume. For this reason, the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system is built into vehicle exhaust systems to reduce nitrogen oxides. AdBlue works with the catalyst to convert 80% of the nitrogen oxides from vehicles into harmless nitrogen and water.

AdBlue has become a consumable part of the emission system of diesel vehicles today. It makes the fuel system of vehicles cleaner and more efficient, so the exhaust emissions are cleaner too. The components of AdBlue are 32.5% urea and 67.5% demineralized water. The urea concentration has a significant influence on the rate of reduction of nitrogen oxide and the crystallization point of the urea solution. Inappropriate concentration not only increases the conversion efficiency, but also causes residual ammonia, leading to secondary pollution.Where does the AdBlue Durable Magnet come into play?

The AdBlue magnet is located both at the vehicle tank outlet and inside the diesel pump. When the magnet in the AdBlue pump comes to the vehicle tank inlet, the two magnets detect each other and the pump allows the output. Thanks to this epoxy-coated and water-resistant magnet, the pump tip opens and AdBlue starts to flow. These nozzles not only provide a safe filling environment but also play a major role in preventing underfilling.
