Magnetic Field Protective Foil

Mu-metal is used to effectively block or redirect magnetic fields. This soft material is 0.35 mm thick and typically consists of a specific blend of nickel, iron, copper, and chromium.

The key features of mu-metal are its low magnetic coercivity and high magnetic permeability. These characteristics allow mu-metal to attract and guide magnetic fields through the material, thus protecting sensitive devices from magnetic interference.

This mu-metal magnetic protection foil measures 600 mm in length and 250 mm in width.

General Features:

• Flexibility: Highly flexible and can be easily cut with scissors.
• Protection: Used to protect sensitive electronic devices from unwanted electromagnetic interference.
• Easy Installation: Can be easily applied with adhesive for mounting.
• Usage Limitation: Not suitable for protecting permanent magnets. Ideal for sensitive electronic devices and components but not for protecting permanent magnets (e.g., neodymium magnets).

Chemical Composition:

• 80% Nickel
• 5% Molybdenum
• 15% Iron

It has low density and provides maximum protection for low-frequency H fields up to 1 kHz, whether AC or static DC.
