JCZ-20 Gauss Meter - Magnetic Field Measuring Device

A gauss meter is used to measure the magnetic field strength (Gauss) on the surfaces of magnets, electromagnets, and other magnetic equipment.

The JCZ-20 magnetometer, a Gauss measuring device, directly measures the level of magnetisation during the processing of ferromagnetic materials and components. It can also be used for measurements after demagnetisation.

How to Use a Gauss Meter?

This gauss meter has high sensitivity. Therefore, measurements should be performed by moving the device in an east-west direction. To avoid measurement errors, there should be no external magnetic field in the test environment. During measurement, the gauss meter is positioned relative to the object being tested and moved in both directions. The maximum value observed during this movement represents the magnetic field strength in Gauss on the surface of the measured object.

Applications

  • Measurement of DC magnetic fields and peak magnetic field values
  • Measurement of permanent magnet magnetic field distribution
  • Measurement of magnetisation of permanent magnets
  • Measurement of magnetic field distribution inside DC coils
  • Measurement of the magnetic field in the air gap of DC electromagnets
  • General DC magnetic field measurement
