Samarium-cobalt (SmCo) magnet, a type of rare earth magnet, is a powerful permanent magnet composed of two fundamental elements. The combination of samarium and cobalt elements creates this permanent magnet with an exceptionally strong structure.

SmCo samarium cobalt magnets are very similar to neodymium magnets in terms of strength. However, they can withstand higher temperatures.
