This Y35-grade ferrite plate magnet is designed for plastic recycling systems to effectively separate ferrous contaminants such as screws, nails, and metal fragments from shredded or granulated plastic material. It is typically installed beneath conveyor belts or chutes and provides continuous, maintenance-free magnetic protection.

Ferrite magnets are highly durable, cost-effective, and maintain consistent magnetic performance over time without demagnetization. Their resistance to heat and corrosion makes them ideal for non-food recycling environments.

The mounting holes of plate magnets can be determined according to customer requirements and desired specifications. The minimum ferrous particle size that can be captured is 0.03 mm.

The surface plate of the magnet can be manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel or AISI 316L stainless steel and features a sandblasted finish. The mounting surface is painted. Upon request, the product can also be manufactured entirely from stainless steel. Additionally, handles made of chrome or bakelite can be added. The manufacturing tolerance is ±3 mm.
