Panel for Electropermanent Magnets

Electropermanent magnets are a system used by sheet metal manufacturing companies to transport sheets from one location to another. It can be used for in-mold sheet metal handling, post-laser-cutting sheet metal handling, and post-sizing sheet metal handling. This control panel we have developed for these handling magnets performs the switching operation during the use of electropermanent magnets. This panel must also be purchased for each electropermanent magnet you will use.

Electropermanent is an advanced magnet system that magnetizes instantly upon power application and maintains its magnetic holding power even when the power is cut off. Thanks to this feature, it provides both maximum safety and energy savings. The system is supplied with electrical energy only for a short period during the magnet's switching on and off. Once the magnetic field is established, it does not require continuous energy.

It is particularly preferred in applications where safety is critical, as there is no risk of parts falling during power outages.

Technical Specifications

It is available in 110V, 220V, and 380V operating voltage options and can provide pulling forces of up to 350 kgf at levels of 5–10–15 kN. The cable position can be chosen as either top-exit or side-exit; it can be supplied with a terminal box and control panel upon request. Designed for 50%, 75%, and 100% operating periods, it is resistant to a maximum operating temperature of 80°C. It features a steel body structure and its outer surface can be produced in zinc, nickel, black matte zinc, painted, or uncoated options. Thanks to its sealing feature, it can be used safely in harsh industrial environments. It is part of the category of manual magnetic tables, electromagnetic tables, electropermanent tables, and electropermanent carriers and has a tolerance value of ±3 mm.
